Arnold Schoenberg — Pierrot Lunaire, Op. 21
A collaboration with the Israeli Opera star Hila Baggio and stage director Shirit Lee Weiss in Arnold Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire. This production premiered in 2016 and returns to mark the composer's 150th birth year. The minimialist sets and Baggio's magnetic performance captivate both concert and theater audiences. Sparks will fly in the first half, which includes two of the early Twentieth Century's undisputed virtuosic masterworks, in chamber versions created expecially for the ensemble by Yuval Shapiro.
