About Michael Yeung, percussion

Percussionist Michael Yeung stands out in the world of music with his unparalleled talent as a musician, skillfully navigating the roles of soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer. Highlighted as "a little spark that can turn one's life completely upside down" (Interlude), he continues to hone his skills at the Yale School of Music under the esteemed Robert van Sice. Notably, Michael is among the rare few to be admitted to Yale's prestigious Artist Diploma program for percussionists, underscoring his extraordinary skill and commitment. Additionally, Michael dedicates part of his year to educating budding musicians in Hong Kong, further expanding his impact beyond performance.
