Morehouse College & Spelman College 98th Annual Christmas Carol Concert

The Spelman College and Morehouse College Glee Clubs will unite once again to lift their voices in holiday cheer. The 98th annual Christmas Carol Concert is a tradition rousing the Atlanta community for nearly a century. Join us for the weekend of performances. The opening concert will start on Dec 6, at 7:30pm in the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel.

On Dec 7, the performance will commence at 7:30pm in Sisters Chapel, with doors opening at approximately 6:45pm. The first 500 guests will be seated in Sisters Chapel. The remaining guests will be seated in the overflow areas, the Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby, Ed.D. Academic Center Auditorium and the Science Center NASA Auditorium. No reservations will be accommodated for the performance in Sisters Chapel. This performance will be streamed live promptly at 7:30pm.

The final Christmas Carol Concert will start on Dec 8, at 6pm in the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel.

The Glee Club is the premier performance organization for the College and sings for most campus events. It has had the unique opportunity to perform with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, a world- renowned opera singer Jessye Norman, and as a part of the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration.

About Morehouse College Glee Club

Founded in 1911, the Morehouse College Glee Club is now an internationally renowned choir, which has performed in concert halls and at special events across the globe. The current members come from all over the United States and from places around the world. While many are music majors, our singers come from majors in all divisions of the college. Even though some members take Glee Club as a course for credit, all members still sing as a labor of love and enjoy being ambassadors for Morehouse College.
