Embark on a musical journey across America with Auburn Symphony’s string quartet! This captivating program showcases a rich tapestry of American composers, from the expressive lyricism of Samuel Barber's String Quartet, featuring the beloved Adagio for Strings, to the soulful and rhythmic energy of Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson's String Quartet No. 1.

Dell Wade's String Quartet No. 3 offers a fresh perspective on contemporary American composition, while Gwyneth Walker's "Coming Home" from Traveling Songs brings a delightful theatrical twist—complete with a pantomime of baseball, America's favorite pastime! Expect costumes, props, and even a bit of audience participation in this playful, one-of-a-kind performance.

Join us for an evening of artistry, storytelling, and musical Americana, brought to life by Quinn Price and Allion Salvador, violin; Joyce Ramee, viola; and Brian Wharton, cello.
