About Peace and Carol Ringers (Annandale)
The Carol Ringers, high school youth, and the Peace Ringers, adults, perform a repertoire of classical, sacred, and popular music. They are two of ten ensembles at St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Annandale, VA and have made a serious commitment to play in church monthly and present concerts in the community. They have performed at the Kennedy Center since the early 1980. They have been guest artists of the Choral Arts Society, performing several times on the Concert Hall stage. They also have performed with the Air Force Band three times at Constitution Hall. The Carol Ringers enjoyed three performances at the State Department. Each group attends a Handbell Festival Conference each year and the youth spend several days on tour playing at local churches on the way to and from the festival.
