Evergreen Philharmonic Season Finale

Evergreen Philharmonic's Season Finale is a culmination of the work of the year. Once again, the Middle School Honor Orchestra is a guest to open the concert, as they did in the fall at Season Premiere. This concert is not just the last of the year for the orchestra, but it is the final performance for any seniors in the group. This concert recognizes those students as they are about to graduate and move on to their next chapter in life. As such, it is the tradition that seniors do not wear just concert black for their last performance and they are recognized both in the program and during the concert. This concert is also when several awards are given as well as the announcement of section leaders and concertmaster for the upcoming year.

About Evergreen Philharmonic

Evergreen Philharmonic is the premier orchestra of the Issaquah School District. It is a full symphonic orchestra comprised of 70 to 80 honor students who are selected yearly by audition from Issaquah, Liberty, and Skyline High Schools. The students attend daily orchestra classes at Skyline and Issaquah High and each Friday after school, the whole orchestra rehearses together. This group of talented musicians performs an ambitious and varied schedule of concerts during the year, including standard symphonic literature, musical theater, concerti, and waltzes.
