A fanfare for brass in Dukas' La Péri: Fanfare, a symphony for winds in Gounod's Petite Symphonie, and a suite for strings in Holst's Brook Green Suite all lead up to the festive and enchanting Symphony No. 6 by Dvořák for the entire orchestra. Special guest Matthew Kocmieroski, marimba virtuoso, also takes the stage with the orchestra for a performance of Hovhaness' Fantasy on Japanese Woodprints.
