The Federal Way Symphony opens Season 36 with two contrasting works from the Romance period: Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 and Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2. A selection of arias and duets from the operatic repertoire rounds out the first concert of the season. Internationally-renowned pianist Mark Salman, described as "wildly imaginative" and "touchingly lyrical," is the featured soloist.
