The Seattle Symphony spotlights famed Finnish composer Jean Sibelius with his popular Second Symphony. Conductor Emeritus Ludovic Morlot joins the orchestra to bring this magnificent work to life, full of sweeping melodies and rich orchestration. A bold, world premiere work by Puerto Rican-born composer and multi-instrumentalist Angélica Negrón responds to Sibelius and captivating violinist Isabelle Faust performs a sensational violin concerto by Igor Stravinsky.
