Due to musician illness, the music of Wynton Marsalis' A Fiddler's Tale will not be performed as part of the May 3 Chamber Series concert. Instead, the program will feature works for string quartet by Mendelssohn, Haydn, & Arensky.
Musicians of the Seattle Symphony step into the spotlight in the intimate acoustics of the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall for this final Chamber Series program of the season. The string section takes center stage to perform beautiful works for string quartet by Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Joseph Haydn, and Anton Arensky.
The Seattle Symphony and Benaroya Hall will require all event attendees to provide proof of full vaccinations (or a negative COVID-19 test) and to wear masks inside the venue regardless of vaccination status. Visit seattlesymphony.org/safety for more information on our safety measures.
