Gallery Concerts: Mozart the Galant

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s early works are the epitome of the Galant Style, where beautiful melodies and the “stirring” of emotions were prized above all else. Over time Mozart mixed Baroque counterpoint techniques with these Galant melodic practices resulting in the Classical Style of his celebrated later works. Rachell Ellen Wong joins Jonathan Oddie for a journey witnessing this transformation in works of Mozart for violin and piano. With works by Johann Christian Bach and Hélène de Montgeroult.

The concert will begin at 7:30pm.

Tickets: $35 ($30 senior age 65+, $15 young adult ages 17-25)
