Polyphony Plus, directed by Dr Anne Lyman, proudly presents its inaugural concert with a collection of works celebrating the many saints in our lives, present and past. The centerpiece of the program is William Byrd sublime Mass for All Saints. Other works span the centuries and include, among others, works by Peter Philips, Vittoria Aleotti, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Alice Parker, Abbie Betinis, Ayan Vasquez-Lopez, and the Wailin' Jennys.
Polyphony Plus is a Tacoma-based professional choir founded by Dr Anne Lyman. We perform music from all eras that highlights polyphony, or the combining of independent melodies into one harmonious whole.
This 75-minute concert will be presented without an intermission.
