Having triumphed as some of opera’s greatest heroines—including Violetta in La traviata, Desdemona in Otello, and the title characters of Tosca, Luisa Miller, and Iolanta—this enthralling artist makes her long-awaited return to the Met, accompanied by esteemed pianist Malcolm Martineau. The program for this one-night-only event features ravishing selections from the Italian and French song repertoire, including music by Verdi, Puccini, Henri Duparc, Ernest Chausson, and more.
