The Northwest Edvard Grieg Society and the Thalia Symphony join forces to bring you Grieg's incidental music to Ibsen’s immortal play, reviving the larger-than-life characters and epic story of adventure and misadventure in the realms of the mystical and earthly. The concert will feature Norwegian music specialist Laura Loge performing Solveig's beloved songs; Kathi Ploeger and Don Meyers in traditional wedding processional dances; dancer and choreographer Erin Crall in dance interpretations of Peer's love interests, Ingrid, the Woman in Green, and Antira; and the Northwest Grieg Chamber Chorus to bring us back to piety through their dulcet hymn tones. The songs will be sung in the original Norwegian.

COVID-19 Protocols: Current COVID-19 restrictions will be followed for all performers and audience members. Please review the National Nordic Museum's Visitor Guidelines for COVID-19 Response before attending this event: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AXU4mXd46SKfw3KR4lKIi6bO_9tMOGTn/view
