Born in Taipei, Yi-Chih Lu played piano since he was a child. Over the years he has performed works by Brahms, Chopin, Adolph Kurt Böhm, Taiwanese composer Hung Chi-Lien, and his own arrangements of Taiwanese folk songs. Lu has recorded 10 solo piano albums over his career and received his Master's Degree from the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
