As a flourish to our 2022 season, we've planned a special program for our patrons in August. Laura Bohn, who sang at the festival 18 years ago when she was studying music in Seattle, has graciously offered to return to the barn to perform a luscious program of French chanson, German cabaret, and other chamber songs. Laura, who now makes her home in Amsterdam, has performed in opera houses throughout Europe and the U.S., earning praise for her heart-conquering vocals and dramatic skills. You can see and hear many of her performances on her website and YouTube. Pianist Hadley McCarroll, who hails from the Bay Area, will be joining Laura on stage. The program will include works by Poulenc, Debussy, Kurt Weill, Satie, and Eisler.
A marvelous program such as this deserves to be celebrated with a party. We will be pouring fine wines and will provide finger foods created especially for this occasion. And, of course, Laura and Hadley will be on hand to mingle.
As you know, all our regular season concerts are free to the public. For this fundraising event, we are charging admission so that we can make a head start on securing support for our 2023 season. Tickets are $100 per person for barn seating and $50 for lawn seating. You may purchase tickets online at TicketStripe beginning in June.

Concerts in the Barn seeks to enrich people's lives through affordable access to world-class chamber music & musicians in an informal setting that fosters conversation, community, and engagement.
The Farm opens for visitors at noon each concert day. Barn doors open at 1pm. Concerts begin at 2pm and have one intermission.
All concerts are free to the public. Prior reservations are required.
Sit on comfortable pews, a hay bale in the loft, or on your blanket on the lawn.
Seating in the barn is first-come, first serve. If you have a mobility issue, please call (360) 732-0732 before the day of the concert and a seat will be reserved for you.
