Enjoy traditional holiday favorites and choral music for the winter season, including Shruthi Rajasekar’s Twelve Drummers, a delightful play on The 12 Days of Christmas. Shruthi is an Indian-American composer and vocalist exploring identity, community, and joy. Chosen by The Guardian as a composer "who will enrich your life," Shruthi creates intersectional music that draws from her unique background in the Carnatic (South Indian classical) and Western classical idioms.

Our December concerts often sell out in advance and elicit glowing reviews: "Best of all, the quality showed why this choir is so well regarded…The entire program was a moving experience and a fitting beginning for the Christmas season." – Pippa Kiraly, The SunBreak

This concert will take place Dec. 10 at 3pm and 7:30pm at Bastyr University Chapel, and Dec. 17 at 3pm at Seattle First Baptist Church. A pre-concert conversation will take place 30 minutes before the beginning of each performance.

The Seattle First Baptist Church performance will also be livestreamed for free; donations will be gratefully accepted.

Attending in person: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required at the door for all Seattle Pro Musica events this season. Additionally, audience members will be expected to remain masked at all times while indoors.
