The Boise Phil opens its 2022-23 season led by Maestro Eric Garcia in an exciting program of Mozart and Tchaikovsky. The concert begins with Mozart’s dramatic-yet-playful Overture to Don Giovanni and the elegant and sunny Violin Concerto No. 3 with violinist Timothy Chooi. The program closes with a true gem of the romantic repertoire: Tchaikovsky’s passionate Sixth Symphony. A musical portrait of the human condition, the Sixth Symphony is a tug-of-war between joy and sorrow, life and death, control and fate, pain and pleasure.
