Join us for a musical exploration of Marian music from Mediterranean Lands, including the Iberian Peninsula, Italy, Cyprus, Southern France, Morocco, and more, including songs of devotion to the iconic Black Madonnas from those regions.

We'll also dive into music from several important and magnificent manuscripts, among them the Cantigas de Santa Maria, the Las Huelgas Manuscript, the Llibre Vermell, as well as sacred traditional Galician songs, Italian Laude, devotional 15th c. motets from the Burgundian Court on Cyprus, all with a flavor of pilgrimage, joy, and awe.
