Black Violin at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall

Black Violin is composed of violist Wil B. and violinist Kev Marcus, who combine their classical training and hip-hop influences to create a distinctive multi-genre sound that is often described as "classical boom." They are joined onstage by DJ SPS and drummer Nat Stokes. The band’s Give Thanks Holiday Tour employs playful storytelling, whimsical string melodies, and hard-hitting beats to highlight the unifying pillars of the holiday season: Giving back to others and being wholeheartedly thankful.
