Contemporary classical music is a multifaceted diamond, each facet reflecting the sounds of the future. That future shines brightly in the hands of the Excelsis Percussion Quartet. Hailed as "one of the most innovative and exciting percussion ensembles to emerge in the golden age of chamber music," the New York City-based quartet is a diverse foursome with members from Poland, Japan, the USA, and Mexico. These four women with a multilingual combination of five languages come together in the universal language of rhythm, rooted in their belief that music possesses the ability to unite us all.
