The Pioneer Valley Symphony Orchestra performs two of 20th-century Ukrainian composer Thomas de Hartmann's most extraordinary orchestral works: De Hartmann's first Symphonie-poème, and the U.S. premiere of Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, featuring acclaimed pianist and scholar Elan Sicroff.

Learn more about de Hartmann at a free 6pm pre-concert talk in the lobby with PVS' resident musicologist and Amherst College professor David Schneider and Elan Sicroff, artistic director of the Thomas de Hartmann Project.

The concert will be approximately 90 minutes long with intermission.

A post-concert reception will be held in the lobby of the Bromery Center for the Arts, hosted by the Thomas de Hartmann Project.

COVID-19 Protocols: Face masks are required in the concert hall.
