With the end of Queen Elizabeth II's seventy years on the throne, it's time for a coronation. Just a few weeks after King Charles III will be crowned, the Emerald Ensemble will present an evening of music written for English coronations of centuries past. Perennial favorites by Handel and Parry will appear, as well as works by major and minor composers from the Seventeenth through Twentieth Centuries. Hear Emerald Ensemble's twelve singers at St. James Cathedral, featuring its majestic organ played by Christopher Stroh.
After each concert in the summer series, join us outside in the Archbishop Murphy Courtyard (south side of the Cathedral) for a free gelato reception and an opportunity to meet the artists!
