French violinist Virgil Boutellis-Taft comes to Zankel Hall for a program of impassioned music from the 19th and early 20th Centuries. Virgil is joined by pianist Juyoung Park for Bloch's deeply moving "Nigun" and other selections from his second album, Incantation, recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. Also featured are Schumann's Violin Sonata No. 1 in A minor, and Janáček's Violin Sonata.
