About Aaron Lee Estes (Hey 19)
As a Baltimore-based artist, my work is heavily influenced by the dynamic and ever-evolving energy of the city. Through my use of a pile of cheap gear, I aim to create a sonic experience that transcends time and space, allowing the listener to fully immerse themselves in the present moment. My pieces are a reflection of my own personal journey towards inner peace and the ultimate goal of "having a good time all the time." Drawing inspiration from the unpredictable nature of life, each composition is a unique blend of cosmic beats and ethereal melodies that guide the audience on a journey of self-discovery. So come, let go of your inhibitions and let the vibrations of my music transport you to a state of pure transcendence.

Heather Stebbins is a sound artist and educator based in Washington, DC, where she is Assistant Professor of Electronic and Computer Music at George Washington University. She works with sounds created by instruments, found objects, nature, and voltage to generate musical experiences ranging from notated works for chamber ensembles to improvised performances on modular synthesizers. Really wonderful people and ensembles have performed her music in a lot of neat places, and she is grateful for that. Her recent album, At the End of the Sky (Superpang, 2023), is available on Bandcamp and streaming platforms. Other recordings are available on New Focus Recordings, Not Art Records, SEAMUS, and Coviello labels.

Jonah Parzen-Johnson makes music for baritone saxophone and flute that challenges listeners with experimental textures and forms while embracing them with warm approachable melodies. A Chicago native and longtime Brooklyn resident, Jonah has performed solo in more than a dozen countries across four continents. Jonah has brought his music to festivals in Berlin and Helsinki, concert halls in Istanbul and Brugges, rock clubs in Rotterdam and Montreal, and jazz clubs in New York and Chicago. His solo performances are a deeply intimate experience, as he endeavors to share who he is, how he sees our world, and the temporary moments of community that we can all embrace together.
"Parzen-Johnson takes deep, chest rattling sax solos that scale the same ecstatic heights as Mats Gustafson but in a much more disciplined and mantra-like manner." — The Wire Magazine
