Evergreen Ensemble: Requiem: 'How to Go On' by Dale Trumbore & Requiem by Herbert Howells
$50 reserved, $30 general ($15 students ages 10-18; ages 10 & under free)
We'll close our concert season with a program that pairs Dale Trumbore's How to Go On with Herbert Howell's timeless Requiem. These two works for a cappella choir are each tied to the death of a loved one for either the librettist or composer, and offer unique musical perspectives on the process of grief and acceptance that follows such a loss. Come hear both an established masterwork, as well as a landmark work from an up and coming composer.
2 performances:
- Saturday, March 8, 7pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood
- Sunday, March 9, 3pm at Trinity Parish Church in Seattle
