Henry Lebedinsky plays music for solo harpsichord by Giovanni Battista Draghi (ca. 1640-1708), Élisabeth-Claude Jacquet de la Guerre (1655-1729), and Elizabeth Turner (d. 1756).
The program will include Draghi's Suite in B minor (Prélude – Allemande – Courante – Tombeau – Rondeau), selections from Jacquet de la Guerre's 1687 Suite du Premier ton (Prélude – Allemande – Courante – Sarabande – Chaconne L'Inconstante), and Turner's Suite No. 5 in A major ([Allegro] – Andante – Aria – Savoyard – Minuetto con Gusto).
The recital will be played on the Faith Lutheran harpsichord, a "refait," double-manual instrument in late 18th-century Parisian style by Willard Martin.
