The evening begins with the Wind Orchestra presenting "Reflection," an exploration of meditation and contemplation through music. This serene and introspective program features compositions by Maslanka, Blackshaw, Fisher, and Reed, inviting listeners to pause and reflect.
Following the Wind Orchestra, the Concert Band presents "Around Town," a delightful journey through Atlanta. From the SkyWheel to the Chattahoochee River and the Margaret Mitchell House, this concert captures the essence of Atlanta's charm. Enjoy pieces by Alford, Svanoe, Mancini, Lewis, and Copland, each evoking the spirit of the city's beloved landmarks.
