Guitarist Pablo Sáinz-Villegas channels the passion and flair of fellow Spaniard Andrés Segovia, the original star who premiered Joaquín Rodrigo's debonair fantasy on old Spanish melodies. Cuban sensation Jorge Amado draws inspiration from the traditional music of his homeland in a new work for Orpheus. Evocative night music from Manuel Ponce and a vivid sketch of a skeleton from Gabriela Ortiz showcase the vibrant past and present of Mexican concert music. ¡Será una noche de fantasías!
