Lakewold Gardens is pleased to present Sounds of the Homelands, its 2024 Music from Home season. Each concert program features the music of a particular cultural terroir, brought to life in the garden by renowned performers and guest musicologists for selected performances.
American Focus Concert 5 features two wonderful Portland-based musicians: violist Kenji Bunch and pianist Monica Ohuchi.
On the program there is music inspired by jazz and other uniquely American musical genres by composers based in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Kenji Bunch will perform some of his own works as well as three of his arrangements of songs by Cole Porter.
Don't miss the chance to hear this special program by two fabulous performers on the last iteration of the Music from Home series.
Your ticket includes admission to the gardens starting at 2pm plus a complimentary beverage and dessert.
