Una Hwang, organ, & Svend Rønning, violin, perform a continental mix of Italian, French, & German music. Works by Tomaso Vitali, C.W. Gluck, Nicolaus Bruhns, J.S. Bach, & Jeanne Demessieux, as well as “Winter” from Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.

The first recital on the 29 stop, two-manual Fritts Opus 6 organ following recent updates to the instrument and architectural and acoustic revisions to the sanctuary.

Music by Bruhns, Sweelinck, Bach, van Noordt, Tunder, and Mozart performed by Notre Dame's famed organist.

Music for organ by Buxtehude, Bruhns, Boehm, and Rheinberger.

Mr. Matthews is the 2014 winner of the Westfield Center for Keyboard Studies organ competition for young organists. Program will include works by Bach ("Dorian" Prelude and Fugue), Bruhns, Duruflé, Howells and Widor.
