Marcia Young – Past Concerts
Soprano Marcia Young has been a member of My Lord Chamberlain's Consort, Duo Marchand, the Salisbury Four, and the medieval trio Trefoil. She has appeared with the Folger, Newberry, and Batcheler Consorts, Pomerium, Parthenia, and at the Boston, Connecticut, Amherst, Washington, Madison, and San Francisco Early Music Festivals; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cloisters, the Yale Center for British Art; the Royal Oak Society and The Century Club, New York; the Lute Society of America conference and seminar in Cleveland; the Distinguished Artists Series in Syosset; Philadelphia's Lyrebird Series; the De Blasiis Chamber Music series in Glens Falls; the Candlelight Concerts series in Colonial Williamsburg; and the United States Military Academy at West Point. Young serves as director of performances studies in the Department of Music at Stern College, Yeshiva University, New York.
