Hana Gottesman – Upcoming Concerts
15-year-old violinist Hana Gottesman has performed on both coasts of the United States, including recitals in San Francisco, New York, Washington DC, and Philadelphia. She has appeared on the Ross Arts Chamber Music series and was invited to be the featured soloist with the Sonoma Strings in California (“… Hana is a rising young artist with brilliant musicianship, creating special connections with her audiences” David Montgomery, Artistic Director of Sonoma Strings). She won First Prize at the Simon-Fiset/SMTA Competition, as well as the Jean Kantner Memorial Trophy for Best Performance of a Baroque Composition. Having performed several times in Seattle at Benaroya Hall, the appearance with the Bellevue Symphony will mark Hana’s Bellevue debut. Hana has studied violin with Jan Coleman and currently studies with Simon James.
