Adrian King

Adrian King is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance at the Eastman School of Music where he studies with Douglas Humpherys. Previously, he studied with Peter Mack in his hometown of Seattle.

Adrian began his musical studies at age four when he started learning both piano and classical guitar. Since then, he has developed a love for performing as a soloist, as well as collaborating with others.

In recent years, Adrian has performed in various international piano competitions and festivals. In 2019, he received the Gold Medal in the Youth Division of the Seattle International Piano Competition. Additionally, he was the winner of the Aloha International Piano Competition and performed Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. He also performed Chopin's 2nd Piano Concerto under conductor Gavriel Heine in Minnesota after winning the Northern Lights Music Festival competition. When away from the piano, Adrian enjoys running, hiking, cooking, and photography.
