Passiones Animae – Past Concerts
Passiones Animae
Passiones Animae is an international early music ensemble, composed from Juilliard's most promising students and alumni. Its members are regularly invited to perform with ensembles including Freiburger Barokorchester or Mercury Chamber Orchestra, and all were individually invited to perform this summer with Les Arts Florissants under the baton of William Christie. Bound by a commitment to the rhetorical approach to music prevalent in the 17th and 18th Centuries, the performances of Passiones Animae are both compelling and emotionally powerful.
