St. Helens String Quartet – Past Concerts

An outdoor concert featuring Dvořák’s Cypress Songs, Dean Martin’s Sway, Copland’s Saturday Night Waltz, and Coldplay’s Tango.

Celebrating life and music by the late Bern Herbolsheimer.

Step back in time and imagine what a concert by the young Mozart might have been like with pieces he wrote as a child. Ideally suited for children ages 5-10.

Premiere of Cornish student Roderick Borcherding's new string quartet, a contemporary classical work exploring techniques in sound.

Program will include selections from the debut album, with works by northwest composers Ken Benshoof, Janice Giteck and Bern Herbolsheimer, plus Peter Schickele's "American Dreams" Quartet No. 1.
