Andréa Walker

Mexican-American soprano Andréa Walker specializes in historical performance practice and vocal chamber music. She appears regularly with Grammy Award-winning orchestra Apollo's Fire, and made recent solo debuts with Les Délice, The American Bach Soloists Academy, and The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra as Belinda in Dido and Aeneas. Other recent solo performance highlights include making her debut at the Lincoln Center in Telemann's Der Tag des Gerichts with Masaaki Suzuki and Juilliard415, touring Germany as a soloist in Haydn's Schöpfungsmesse with Yale Schola Cantorum, performing the role of Venus in Daniel Purcell's The Judgment of Paris with Amherst Early Music Festival, and serving as a guest artist at the Norfolk Chamber Choir Festival under the direction of Simon Carrington.
