Sara Negishi – Upcoming Concerts

Sara is a Filipino-Japanese educator and pianist. She finished her Diploma in Creative and Performing Musical Arts (DCPMA) majoring in Piano in 2013 and continued on completing her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in 2016 at the University of the Philippines. A private piano instructor since 2012, she taught in various international schools and music studios around Metro Manila. Aside from teaching, she was a regular accompanist for student exams and recitals, choral programs, private functions and events, and long-term pianist to the UP Church of the Risen Lord's Sanctuary Choir and UP Cherubim and Seraphim Children's choir. She lived in Tokyo for about 4 years to teach at an International Preschool while still teaching piano, and was an active member of the Tokyo Union Church's Sanctuary Choir and Tokyo Embassy Choir. Since moving to Bellingham, WA, she has actively sung with Vox Pacifica, Bellingham Chamber Chorale, and Whatcom Chorale.
