Ko-ichiro Yamamoto – Past Concerts
Known as one of the foremost Japanese trombonists of his generation, Ko-ichiro Yamamoto enjoys a dazzling career in the United States as the first Japanese trombonist in major American orchestras. He currently plays as the Principal Trombonist in the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held since 2005. Before the Seattle Symphony, he performed for ten years with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York City.
Besides playing in orchestras, Mr. Yamamoto regularly travels around the world performing and teaching.
