Liaisons is a landmark commissioning and concert project conceived by acclaimed concert pianist Anthony de Mare based on the songs of legendary musical theater composer Stephen Sondheim.
Performing works inspired by the master's greatest songs from such hits as Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, Follies, and Company, De Mare presents music by leading composers from musical theater, film, popular and classical music. The Seattle concert includes the world premiere of Jherek Bischoff’s The Ballad of Guiteau (Assassins).
