Albert Einstein called the music of Mozart “so pure and beautiful that I see it as a reflection of the inner beauty of the universe.” With the help of three musical titans, SMCO takes listeners on a journey through timeless elegance, soul-searching depth and fiery ebullience. Recently added, the music of Seattle composer Angelique Poteat has been featured by the Seattle Symphony and others, and her sweeping chamber work Diurnal Tides (2007) joins a program of music spanning three centuries.
