R. Joseph Scott, conductor
Beaver Lake Middle School Choir, special guest

Conductor R. Joseph Scott rings in the holiday season with a festive Holiday Pops! Concert. Holiday Pops! is a perennial concert favorite for the whole family. This most cherished holiday tradition is always a sold-out concert.

This year’s concert program will include a wonderful collection of holiday tunes everyone knows, and some new ones that are less familiar. On the program: Sleigh Ride, The Christmas Song, Polar Express Suite, Russian Christmas Music, a big work that features the whole orchestra with a robust and full symphony orchestra sound, and Fantasia on We Three Kings, a serious concert piece with a more modern sound. Also on the program will be Hallelujah Chorus, Festive Sounds of Hanukah and much more.

Special guest for this concert will be the Beaver Lake Middle School Choir. The Beaver Lake Middle School Choir is a 118-member choir of 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls and boys under the direction of Ms. Tina Worthington, who has been teaching choirs for 29 years. This is the third year the choir has performed with the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops! Concert.
