Early Music Guild Northwest Showcase: Cornish College of the Arts Recital

This recital program will feature current students Bryan Lane, tenor, and Mara Winter, Baroque flute. The recital is in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the Cornish Program, and will include repertoire by J. S. Bach, Jacques-Martin Hotteterre, Jean-Marie Leclair and Heinrich Schütz. The Artist Diploma Baroque Ensemble will be accompanied by members of the Early Music faculty.

Now in its fourth year, the Artist Diploma in Early Music at Cornish College of the Arts is a post-baccalaureate, performance-oriented program. It is designed for high level students who desire intensive private instruction, ensemble coaching, performance experience and a thorough background in all aspects of historical performance practice. Graduates from the program have included harpsichordists, gambists, baroque flutists and singers.
