This Meetup is intended for audience members and supporters of the performers and is limited to 20 slots. If you'd like to attend this Meetup as a performer, please RSVP for the Masterclass III: Performer’s Meetup.
This is an open format masterclass, meaning all instruments/vocals are welcome.
The Meetup will last for up to 2 hours. Each performance will last for up to 10 minutes or less, plus 10-15 minutes of feedback time. If time permits, there will be a short break after the first half. Also, note that this is an informal format and you are free to come and go between performances. But we ask that you not enter or leave the room during a performance.
As a courtesy to our peers, it is suggested that you aim to be familiar with the pieces as to provide constructive and helpful feedback. This is not a requirement, just a suggestion to make the masterclasses as useful as possible. This is especially helpful during those Meetups that are not lead by a teacher or facilitator.
It's important that feedback be done in the spirit of fostering an encouraging, positive atmosphere. In other words: play nice! (No pun intended.)
