Kenji Bunch — Selected works

Our annual Sonic Evolution concert is defined by its exuberance, its genre blending, its Seattle orientation, and its wonderful unpredictability. This year we celebrate two extraordinary Seattle musicians, the incomparable composer, record producer, conductor, and humanitarian Quincy Jones, who we honor with a new work by noted composer Kenji Bunch. And we celebrate Mr. Jones’ classmate at Garfield High School, the legendary jazz and blues singer Ernestine Anderson. To bring the music to life, Music Director Ludovic Morlot has invited the famed Garfield High School Jazz Band and singer Grace Love to join in the fun.
