Eight contestants will perform a piece by Ravel from the piano solo repertoire; Premonitions, a Seattle Symphony commission of a jazz-inspired piece by Portland-based composer and YCA alumnus Kenji Bunch composed specifically for the competition; and one additional work of the contestant’s choosing. Six of the eight will be advanced to compete in the Semi-Final round.

This is a free event but you must RSVP to attend.

Slot one:
9:30–12:00pm – Pianists 1–4

Slot two:
1:00–3:35pm – Pianists 5–8
