This concert features a tour de force pairing of Brahms String Quintet No. 2 in G major, Op. 111 with Tchaikovsky's "Souvenir De Florence" String Sextet Op. 70 in D minor. The brooding melodies of the Brahms contrast with brilliant folk song found in the Tchaikovsky. Artists include principals of the Auburn Symphony Orchestra and the Pacific Northwest Ballet orchestra.
