Gloria Ferry-Brennan, 18, has been a student of Simon James and piano accompanist Hiro David of the Coleman Violin Studio for over 5 years. In the fall she will study with Pamela Frank at the Curtis Institute of Music. She has served as concertmaster for the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra and has appeared as a soloist with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, the Avanti Orchestra, the Saratoga Orchestra, the Ottawa (KS) Chamber Orchestra, the Seattle Festival Orchestra, the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra and Phiharmonia Northwest, among others.

Gloria released her first CD with her band 3 Cent Stamp in December 2014. She was one of ten young violinists chosen to participate in the Starling DeLay Symposium on Violin Studies at the Juilliard School. Gloria is a Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholar and was featured on the National Public Radio program From the Top.
