Duane Hulbert, a Grammy-nominated pianist, will perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Cascade Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with orchestras around the country, including the Minnesota Orchestra, Dallas Symphony, the Tacoma Symphony, and Seattle Symphony. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Juilliard School and his doctorate from the Manhattan School of Music. He was the first-prize winner of the 1980 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, has won awards in the 1981 Leeds Competition in England and the 1985 Carnegie Hall International American Music Competition.

A pre-concert lecture will begin at 6:30 pm.
