Beethoven – Violin Sonata in F major, Op. 24 "Spring"
Beethoven – An die ferne Geliebte ("To the distant beloved")
Schubert – Trio in E-flat, Op. 100

2015–2016 marks the third season of exciting programming for Byron Schenkman & Friends. Schenkman again collaborates with friends to bring an exciting new baroque and classical chamber music series to Benaroya Hall. Romantic music began with two great composers — Beethoven and Schubert — both steeped in the Viennese Classical tradition, exploring the tenderest and most passionate human emotion in chamber music and song.
